Key Features
Francis Combe Academy is committed to helping young people and adults develop real skills for the real world. At Francis Combe Academy learning is purposeful, centred on the needs of the individual and focused firmly on the future.
Our specialisms help us deliver essential skills for the modern world alongside the full National Curriculum. Our three specialisms provide particular benefits:
English – because reading, writing and speaking is vital for personal success
Art – because it helps us express ourselves and developed the power of problem solving
Media – because it combines English and art with technology
Confidence with technology is essential for success in the modern world. At Francis Combe Academy learners of all ages will gain the skills they need for modern work and careers.

School of Special Educational Needs (for tailored learning)

We recognise that no two people are the same – we are all different with our own unique talents. We believe that everyone has the right to learn in a way that suits them best and only by meeting the personal needs of each person can we help everyone look forward to being the best they can.
At Francis Combe Academy we believe everyone deserves enthusiastic and supportive teaching, a nurturing and safe environment, an opportunity to develop their own talents and a quality curriculum that embraces a rapidly changing world.
