Ski Trip Claviere 2010

Waking up at 4 in the morning is not the best way to start the day but it was okay as we knew that we were going to have a great time in Claviere.

The flight was fun and fast, 2 hour flight and 2 hour on coach to get to Claviere seemed like nothing compared to the 18 hour journey back home.

The views were amazing and the ski instructors were both helpful and funny.

The ski lift was fun and scary without the safety bar down. The slopes were fast and some very steep. We had to ski in France for the week as the Italian slopes had shut for the season.

Lunch was okay but most of us liked to eat cheesy chips and crepes, and this was done while sunbathing in the snow.

At the end of a brilliant holiday, we had to pack our bags and leave for the dreaded 18 hour journey back to The Academy, the ferry went quickly and was fun.

Then we had to look forward to school the next morning.

The school we were sharing a coach with Washington school had another 7 hours back to Newcastle which wasn’t very nice for them!

By Tathan, Zoe and Yiannis.
