Parent Teacher Association
Francis Combe Academy has an active and experienced PTA with over 3 years experience. Their role includes advocating on behalf of our parents and working with the school supporting the monitoring of some key priorities.
The PTA also provides opportunities for our learners, their parents and our staff to take part in social activities whilst raising valuable funds for the school community.
The AGM will be on Wednesday 16th September 2009 in the school Library from 7pm. All parents/carers are welcome to attend.
Activities have included:
- Pamper events for mums and daughters
- Adults only indulgence evening.
- Boy’s night, gaming and competitions
- Quiz night including fish ‘n’ chip supper
- Race night
- Discos and themed evenings
- Greeting parents at open evenings and events
Donations to the school have included:
- Whole school sports kit for the PE department
- Drum kit for the music department
- Seating for the library
- Prizes for school events
- Sponsored the whole school awards evening
- Post-16 leavers event entertainment
- Provided support at school events
