Parents Learning Gateway

Tap into parent power with Francis Combe Academy SIMS Learning Gateway. Learning Gateway is an Internet based information and communication tool that gives secure access to individual student data directly from our database.  

Simple and easy to use, all an authorised user has to do is to enter their user name and password to find the information they need. Initially, parents/carers will be able to access information on their child’s daily attendance, behaviour records, timetable, classes and contact details, news items, announcements, messageboard and online surveys. It will soon also be extended to include items such as assessment grades.

We are pleased to be able to offer you a User ID and password for our Learning Gateway. In order to receive these access details please complete and return the  parent access request form to Francis Combe Academy as soon as possible or bring it along to parents evening and hand it in at the SIMS Learning Gateway Helpdesk stand. We will then provide login details to your regularly accessed email address.

Once we have received your access request form and made the relevant security and data protection checks you will be provided with your login details a comprehensive user guide, email support and training if requested.
