Welcome to the website for the proposed Francis Combe Academy. Here you will find information about the consultation that is being carried out and the vision for the new Academy.

The proposed new Academy will open in September 2009 in the existing Francis Combe School buildings. A mix of construction of new buildings and refurbishments will be rolled out over the next few years.

It will be an all-ability school, for 1050 11 – 16 year olds, with a sixth form for up to 300 students.

Students who currently attend Francis Combe School will automatically transfer to the new Academy.

Students and staff will benefit from continued improvements to learning and teaching through state-of-the-art facilities and high standards. There will be no disruption as a result of building work.
